How to improve writing and communication skills?

I found most of job selection criteria includes excellent writing and communication skills. Can anyone give me some suggestion about how to imporve those skills in halfyear

See if your school offers a technical writing course, or something similar in your major.
As for oral skills, take a speech class, or find out if there’s a Toastmaster’s club in your area. Toastmasters is an international club dedicated to helping people improve their speaking and presentation skills. There’s probably a club at your school, or nearby.
