Do you value a resume that emphasizes "soft" skills or concrete qualifications and experience?
Posted by admin | Under soft skills Thursday Nov 19, 2009For example, when listing work experience should I emphasize quantifiable contributions and situations or personal growth? In my opinion, talking about "soft skills" is mostly BS but then again I’m a college student. So what do you, employees/employers in the financial services industry have to say? List your position if applicable.

thanks alot Lexa! That’s what I suspected. If you don’t mind me asking, what do you do?
The problem with listing soft skills is that most employers tend to discount them because until you prove you have them, there is no real way to check on them. To make matters more complicated, much of your competition tends to also possess soft skills and that makes it difficult to set you apart from the competition. Hard skills are important to set you apart from everyone else.
